Planting and Care:
Cucumbers thrive in warm, loamy, well-drained soil. Prepare the soil by working it to a depth of 30 cm and incorporating compost or manure. When soil temperatures reach 18 °C, form 15–20 cm high mounds 30–60 cm wide, spaced 120 cm apart. Sow 6–8 seeds per mound at a depth of 2 cm. Once seeds germinate (7–10 days), thin to 3–4 plants per mound. Use trellises if space is limited. Water consistently to maintain even soil moisture and avoid bitter fruits. Harvest with a sharp knife to preserve the vines.
