This compact, naturally branching variety grows to 25cm tall and produces 7.5cm double, bright yellow flowers throughout the summer. Cultivation method:
Sow directly into the ground between mid and late May, at a depth of 6 mm. Keep the soil moist until germination, which occurs in about 7 days. Thin or transplant the young plants when they are 5 to 8 cm high, spacing them 25 cm apart. For early flowering, start the seeds indoors 6 weeks before planting out, in a soilless mix. Maintain a temperature of 20°C during germination (7 to 10 days), then gradually acclimatise the plants before transplanting them to a sunny location. Remove spent flowers to prolong flowering.
