Lobelia 'Regatta Midnight Blue' is an elegant and vigorous variety, producing an abundance of deep navy blue flowers. With its trailing habit, it is ideal for hanging baskets, larger containers and mixed arrangements. Part of the Regatta series, this variety flowers a month earlier than other lobelias and maintains a dense appearance without thinning out in the centre.

Cultivation method:

Sow Lobelia 'Regatta Midnight Blue' seeds indoors at 70-72°F (21-22°C), about 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Do not cover the seeds as they require light to germinate. Seeds will germinate in 5-10 days. Transplant seedlings into hanging baskets, containers or beds once the risk of frost has passed, spacing them 8-10 inches apart. Plant in a sunny to lightly shaded location with well-drained soil.
