Lettuce leaf basil is an exceptional variety known for its large, round, green and very aromatic leaves, perfect for preparing pesto or enhancing your dishes. It brings a fresh and intense flavor to your cooking. Easy to grow, it adapts equally well to growing in pots or in the open ground, offering generous foliage throughout the season.

Plant height : 40 to 50 cm
Spread : 30 to 40 cm
Quantity per packet : 100 seeds
Companion plants : Ground cherry, okra, tomato, pepper, chili pepper, eggplant
Enemy plants : Potato

Cultivation method :

Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost or directly in the ground after the risk of frost. Choose a rich, well-drained soil amended with compost. Place basil in full sun to maximize production.

Harvest the leaves regularly, starting with the bottom ones to encourage branching and prevent bolting. Grow in pots for a continuous harvest, even in winter. Harvest the leaves between July and August and store them frozen or dried to enjoy them all year round.

Add lettuce leaf basil to your vegetable garden for a bountiful, flavorful harvest that will enrich your favorite dishes all season long.
