Eazyleaf 'Bellevue Rouge' Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) – Offered by the seed company WH Perron

Eazyleaf 'Bellevue Rouge' is a dark red oakleaf variety, prized for its smooth texture and pleasant sweet taste. Versatile, it can be harvested young for delicate salads or at full maturity to enjoy its full flavour and appearance. Resistant to mildew and late bolting, it is an ideal option for easy and productive growing.

Maturity after sowing: Baby - 25 days / Complete - 55 days
Type: Oak Leaf
Color: Red
Quantity per pack: Approximately 25 seeds
Formulation: Organic / Coated / Germplus
Companion plants: Garlic, artichoke, beetroot, chervil, curly chicory, cabbage

Cultivation method:

Sow seeds directly into the ground or into a container as soon as the soil has warmed up, to a depth of 5 mm. Space plants 20 to 25 cm apart for a fully mature crop or sow more densely for a harvest of young leaves. 'Bellevue Rouge' lettuce prefers a moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter.

Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture, which will promote rapid growth and tender texture. For a continuous harvest, sow seeds every two weeks until late summer.

Add color and flavor to your dishes with 'Bellevue Rouge' lettuce, a resistant and tasty variety that will suit both amateur and professional gardeners.
