Developed in Finland by enthusiast Jukka Kilpinen, Aji Fantasy is a unique pepper that combines mildness with a slight heat. Its delicately tangy and fruity taste, as well as its crunchy and juicy texture, make it a very popular variety. Easy to grow and extremely productive, it can produce hundreds of fruits in a single season. Its small, lantern-shaped peppers, bright yellow when ripe, are perfect for salads, salsas and even cocktails. Cultivation method:
- Indoor sowing: Sow seeds 8-10 weeks before the last frost , at a temperature of 25-30°C . Germination takes 10-20 days .
- Transplanting: When the seedlings have 4 to 6 true leaves , transplant them into larger pots before acclimating them to the outdoors.
- Planting in open ground: After the risk of frost, space the plants 40 to 50 cm apart, in rich, well-drained soil.
- Maintenance: Water regularly without soaking, add compost and mulch to retain moisture.
- Harvest: About 90 to 120 days after sowing, harvest the fruits when they turn a nice yellow color.
