Plant height : 30 to 50 cm (on the ground) or more (on trellis)
Quantity per pack : 30 seeds
Maturity (days) : 50 to 60

Sow seeds indoors in early May or directly in the open ground in mid-May after the last frost. Plant in pockets at a depth of 1 to 2 cm, spacing plants 60 cm apart and rows 100 cm apart. If using a trellis, install it before sowing to avoid damaging the roots. Prefer loose, moist, well-drained soil enriched with compost. Grow in full sun to maximize productivity. Harvest gherkins when they are 5 to 7 cm long, for crunchy preserves or fresh consumption.
The green gherkin is a must-have for pickling and gardening enthusiasts, combining ease of cultivation with an abundance of tasty harvests.
