Cultivation method
To promote rapid germination , soak seeds in warm water 12 hours before sowing. Sow directly in the ground from mid-spring to mid-summer . You can also start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost .
For a staggered harvest, sow every week from 4 weeks before the last frost until summer.
Harvesting and conservation
Orange chard can be harvested at any stage of growth, from young shoots to large mature leaves. Cut the leaves as needed, which will encourage new growth.
After harvesting, it is recommended to cool the leaves in water to preserve their freshness. Store them in the refrigerator in a perforated bag for up to a week .
