Cultivation method

For early flowering, it is recommended to soak the seeds in warm water for 12 hours to improve germination. Sowing can be done directly in open ground in early spring or indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost .

Once the seedlings are established, pinch the tips to encourage a denser shape and more abundant flowering. Calendula prefers well-drained soil , sunny exposure and moderate watering , avoiding watering on the foliage to limit the risk of mildew.

Harvesting and conservation
