Unlike other peppers, it is not only extremely hot ( 250,000 SHU ), it also offers an intense citrus flavor with a subtle smoky touch . This balance of heat and aroma makes it a must-have ingredient for hot sauces, spicy powders, and spice blends . If you like spicy cuisine, this pepper will add an explosive dimension to your dishes .

  3. Transplanting: When the seedlings have 4 to 6 true leaves , transplant them into larger pots before acclimating them to the outdoors.
  4. Planting in open ground or in a pot: After the last frost, space the plants 40 to 50 cm apart in rich, well-drained soil. In pots, use a container of at least 7 liters .
  5. Maintenance: Water regularly without soaking the soil. Fertilize every 2 to 3 weeks with a balanced fertilizer.
  6. Harvest: About 90 to 120 days after sowing , the fruits turn from green to a bright orange , a sign that they are ready to harvest.

Pot culture: ideal for small spaces and prolonged harvest

The Habanero Orange is perfectly suited to growing in pots , allowing it to be brought indoors in the fall and thus prolong the harvest. A well-drained pot, exposure to full sun (6 to 8 hours per day) and regular fertilization will guarantee a good production, even on a balcony or terrace .
