How to grow:
Sow directly into the ground in mid-May, barely covering the seeds with soil. Keep the soil moist for the 7-14 days it takes for germination. For early flowering, start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date in a soilless growing medium. Germinate at 60-65°F (15-18°C). After germination, grow on under lights at 55-60°F (13-15°C) before hardening off and transplanting outdoors in late May. Plant 10 inches apart in a full sun location.
These compact, colorful plants are ideal for brightening up containers, borders and window boxes.
