How to Grow:
Sow seeds directly into a prepared seedbed:
- Sowing period: From the beginning of May to mid-June or in autumn (mid-September to the end of October).
- Soil preparation: Work the soil to a depth of 1 inch with a rake or hoe. Remove weeds by hand or use an organic herbicide.
- Sowing: Mix seeds with dry sand for even distribution. Surface sow and allow rain, snow or frost to work seeds into the soil.
- Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season. Germination takes about 7 to 21 days.
Advice :
- Autumn sowing is ideal to allow natural stratification of the seeds.
- If sowing in spring, ensure good seed-soil contact to maximize germination.
- This mix requires little maintenance and offers abundant flowering from the second year for perennials.
