Sow seeds in peat containers 3 to 4 weeks before transplanting to the garden or sow directly in the ground from June, when all risk of frost has passed. Plant 1.5 to 2 cm deep, spacing plants 60 cm apart and rows 1 m apart. This cucumber prefers rich, loose, well-drained soil, with full sun exposure. Maintain an annual crop rotation to limit disease.
For a continuous harvest, sow every 2 to 3 weeks. Pick the fruit regularly to prevent it from becoming too large and the plant from stopping producing. Stake the plants if necessary for better yield and easier harvesting.
The 'Marketer' cucumber is an excellent choice for gardeners looking for a tasty, productive and easy-to-grow vegetable. Its crunchy fruits will bring freshness and flavor to your summer dishes.
