Description
Fafard's BIOFOR® Forest Compost is a product approved for organic farming, ideal for improving the structure of clay soils and providing essential nutrients to your plants. Composed of compost, sphagnum peat moss and aged conifer bark, it reduces soil compaction while promoting healthy and vigorous plant growth. Used as an amendment or nutrient mulch, it is ideal for vegetable gardens, flower beds, as well as for planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals.

- Organic amendment enriched with nutrients:
- Nitrogen (N): 1.2%.
- Phosphoric acid (P2O5): 0.8%.
- Potash (K2O): 0.5%.
- Calcium (Ca): 1%.
- Organic matter: 35%.
- Maximum humidity: 55%.
Application rate and coverage:

Clay breaker:
- Spread 1.5 cm (5/8 in) of compost on the soil surface.
- 1 30 litre bag covers approximately 1.9 m² (20 ft²).
- Incorporate to a depth of 15 cm (6 in).

Mulch and nutrient supply:
- Remove weeds.
- Apply a 2 to 5 cm (0.5 to 2 in) layer of compost to the surface.
