The apples of the "Palla Rossa" offer a crunchy texture and a unique, tangy taste, ideal for salads, grilled or baked with a drizzle of olive oil. The leaves can be harvested at the end of the season, just before the first frosts, or at the young leaf stage to add to salads. Preferring well-drained soil and a sunny location, this variety also grows well in containers, making it perfect for small gardens or balconies.

With a harvest time of approximately 75 days, Wild Chicory 'Palla Rossa' is an excellent option for home gardeners looking to grow a productive, tasty and visually appealing plant.
