How to grow:

For annual blooms, sow seeds each year, as biennials only bloom every other year. Sow indoors in a soilless mix in January for first-season blooms. Lightly cover seeds, keep moist, and germinate at 68°F (20°C) in 14-20 days. Place under lights at a slightly cooler temperature before hardening off and transplanting to a sunny to partially shaded spot. Seeds can also be sown directly in the garden in May or again in August-September. Bellflowers prefer well-drained soil.
