Canary Creeper: A Cascade of Bright Yellow Blossoms
Canary Creeper Nasturtium (Tropaeolum peregrinum), offered by OSC Seeds
Canary Creeper Nasturtium is a vigorous annual climber that graces walls, fences, and trellises with bright yellow flowers, 2–3 cm wide, resembling canaries in flight. Growing up to 3 m tall, it blooms all summer long. Perfect for background plantings alongside non-climbing nasturtiums, it thrives in full sun, tolerating partial shade in hot regions. Easy to grow, it prefers poor soils for an abundant bloom.

How to Grow:
Direct sow seeds outdoors in late May, 6 mm deep, in well-drained soil. Keep the soil moist during the 7–14 day germination period. Once seedlings emerge, thin to 30 cm apart. This plant thrives in full sun but tolerates light afternoon shade in hot regions. Avoid fertilizing in garden soil for optimal flowering, though a light feed may be helpful if grown in pots or peat-based media.
