Cultivation method :

Plant seeds 1 to 2 cm deep, spacing them 5 to 10 cm in the row, with 30 to 40 cm between rows. 'Crosby's Egyptian' beet prefers loose, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Maintain consistent moisture for optimum growth.
For tender roots, harvest when beets are about 6 to 8 cm in diameter. Young leaves can also be harvested and used as leafy greens. Extend the harvest by sowing successively every 2 to 3 weeks.
