How to grow:
Direct sow outdoors in a sunny location with well-drained soil from mid-May to early June. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart. Space rows 18 inches apart and thin final plants to 8 inches. For indoor sowing, start seeds 4–5 weeks before the last frost, maintaining a temperature of 68°F for germination in 14 days. Harden off seedlings before transplanting outdoors after the frost. Harvest seeds when flowers dry and seeds turn grayish-brown.
