Agastache 'Lavender' is a biennial or short-lived perennial , appreciated for its delicate pink flower spikes and its strong lavender and anise fragrance . Its foliage and edible flowers make it an ideal plant for infusions and seasoning . Very melliferous , it attracts a wide variety of pollinating insects and contributes to the biodiversity of the garden. Hardy in zone 4 , it can easily survive the winter and offers a prolonged flowering over two to three years .
