Ice Queen Lettuce:

Its leaves, a bright emerald green, are ultra crunchy and stand out with a strongly toothed and wavy border which gives it a curly look. Very quickly, it forms a very dense apple, very resistant to heat, which does not become bitter. After harvesting the apple, what remains of the plant is left in the ground and is grown like lettuce for cutting. Young leaves can also be harvested, if necessary.

Very refreshing raw, it is amazing when reheated quickly in the pan, because its leaves retain their crunchy side in the heat. We then serve it with hot garlic butter! In addition to its taste qualities and its superior performance in the garden, the Ice Queen turns out to be very resistant to mildew. The apple harvest is done approximately 60 days after sowing.

Number of days for harvest: Young leaves: 30 | Mature leaves: 60
