This fine-grained dolomitic lime neutralizes acidic soils and corrects calcium and magnesium deficiencies. It is easy to apply and helps with a three to four year crop rotation. Try applying lime in late winter to beds that will support brassicas and leafy greens like lettuce, spinach or chicory. Lime appears to improve both the flavor and texture of leafy crops.
