Sweet, heart-shaped chili pepper, ideal for chiles rellenos or for drying to make ancho chili powder. Fruits of medium size, dark green, with robust walls and a little spicy. Known as Poblano when used fresh and Ancho when used as a condiment when dried. Plants have several branches. Adaptable cultivar with good yields in cool climates. SHU 3,000. Fruits 4 to 6 inches.
