Cultivation method:
Sow 'Yellow Baby' melon seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost, or directly into the ground when the soil temperature is at least 65°F (18°C). Plant seeds or transplants in well-drained, organically rich soil in full sun. Space plants 3 to 3 feet (90 cm to 1 m) apart in rows 5 to 6 feet (1.5 to 2 m) apart. Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture, especially during fruit formation, and mulch to control weeds and conserve moisture. Harvest melons when they sound hollow when tapped and the undersides turn slightly yellow.
