The fruits of this variety are round, with a dark green skin that turns orange when ripe. The Melon "d'Oka" is very early and well adapted to dry conditions, which makes it a rustic and easy variety to grow. It prefers well-drained soils and a sunny location, and the fruits reach maturity around 80 days after sowing.
