The sweet red pepper is a prolific variety, ideal for home gardeners looking for an easy-to-grow and tasty vegetable. Its large fruits turn quickly and evenly from green to red, revealing a mild and sweet flavor. Perfect for salads, cooked dishes or as a garnish, this pepper is a sure bet to enrich your vegetable garden.

Spread : 30 to 40 cm
Plant height : 60 to 80 cm
Quantity per packet : 10 seeds
Companion plants : Basil, carrot, marjoram, onion, oregano
Enemy plants : Kohlrabi, chives, fennel, okra, tomato

Cultivation method:

For best results, sow sweet red pepper seeds indoors in March in light potting soil. Maintain a temperature of 20 to 24°C to encourage germination. Transplant the seedlings into individual pots when they have two pairs of true leaves.

Transplant them to the garden after the last frost, when night temperatures are above 54-55°F. Choose a location in full sun and plant them 12 inches apart in rows 24 inches apart. Water regularly, especially during flowering, to support fruit development. Fertilize once a month with a balanced fertilizer for generous harvests.

Harvest peppers when they have reached their full red color to enjoy their sweet flavor and crunchy texture. Sweet red peppers are a great option to add color, sweetness, and abundance to your vegetable garden.
