Cultivation method:
Plant 'Clancy' potato seeds in well-drained, organically rich soil as soon as all risk of frost has passed. Plant tubers 5-8cm deep, spacing them 30cm apart in rows 60cm apart. When the foliage is about 20cm high, hill up the plants by digging in soil around the base to encourage better tuber formation.
Water regularly, especially during flowering, to maintain constant humidity. However, be careful to avoid excess water which could encourage diseases. Harvesting can be done when the leaves begin to yellow and wilt, indicating that the tubers have reached maturity.
