Pumpkin 'Popcorn F1' White ( Warty) (Cucurbita pepo) proposed by the seed company WH Perron

Pumpkin 'Popcorn F1' is a uniquely charming, warty variety with a creamy white colour that matures to a 'fresh butter' hue over time. Perfect for autumn decorations, it produces round fruits of around 8kg, with a firm, well-attached dark handle. Its robust, dark green vines provide reliable yields.

Cultivation method:

Sow directly into the open ground when the soil is warm, or start indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 2 to 3 cm deep, spacing plants 2 m apart in the row and rows 2.5 to 3 m apart to allow for good development of the long vines.

This pumpkin prefers a full sun location and rich, well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0 to 7.0). Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture and fertilize sparingly to promote vigorous vine and fruit growth.

Handle fruit with care to avoid damaging warts. Harvest when color is well defined and skin is hard to the touch. Ideal for creating striking fall displays, 'Popcorn F1' pumpkins stand out for their distinctive aesthetic and durability.

Add the 'Popcorn F1' pumpkin to your garden for a spectacular and memorable harvest. This hardy and unique variety is a must-have for gardeners looking for unusual decorative pumpkins.
