Cultivation method:
'Brandywine Black' tomatoes prefer well-drained soil and full sun exposure. Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost at a depth of 1/2 to 3/4 inch in moist potting soil. Maintain a temperature of 68 to 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C) for germination in 7 to 14 days. Transplant outdoors when the soil is warm and all danger of frost has passed, spacing plants 32 to 40 inches apart.
