Planting and Care:
Cucumbers grow best in rich, warm, well-drained soil. Enrich the soil with compost or manure before planting. Once soil temperatures reach 18 °C, form mounds 15–20 cm high and 30–60 cm in diameter, spaced 120 cm apart. Sow 6–8 seeds per mound at a depth of 2 cm. Thin to 3–4 plants per mound after germination (7–10 days). Train vines to grow on trellises or nets for straighter fruits and better air circulation. Water consistently to prevent bitter cucumbers and harvest with a sharp knife to avoid damaging the vines.
