Natural, untreated and GMO-free seeds. Hybrid seeds. Versatile, high-yielding variety.

SUPPORT: Cucumbers can be grown along the ground if planted 3 ft (90 cm) apart, but can be planted closer together (18 in/45 cm apart) if upright on a trellis, cane tripods or netting at a height of approximately 6 ft (1.8 m). Supports are best set up before planting. Regularly tie the main stems to the supports as they grow.

WATER AND FEED: Water plants growing in the ground once a week and those planted in containers once or twice a day in warm weather.

POLLINATION: Some cucumber varieties have separate male and female flowers and therefore require insect pollination to produce fruit. Some “all-female” varieties are also grown outdoors and will produce bitter cucumbers if pollinated by other varieties: do not grow them together.

Pick the cucumbers as soon as they are a good size by cutting the stem with a sharp knife or pruning shears. Try to harvest them in the morning when the fruits are fresh and crisp. These are prolific plants in hot summers, so make pickles to eat in winter with any excess fruit.
