This Safer brand insecticidal soap kills insects on houseplants, fruits, vegetables, flowers, ornamental plants, trees and shrubs.
Made from selected soaps that have contact insecticide properties. Apply product as supplied in a trigger spray bottle. Spray when insects are first seen on buds, shoots, stems and undersides of leaves.
Once you spray it on any insect, the soap content of the product will immediately kill its effect. This insecticidal soap disrupts the cell membrane of an insect and at the same time removes its protective wax layer. Over time, this will dehydrate the insect and slowly kill it.
Apply weekly for 2 to 3 weeks and then as needed. Insects should be sprayed directly to achieve proper control. The product can be used on fruits and vegetables up to and including the day of harvest. Wash fruits and vegetables before eating.
