Height: 36″. Very new to North America, this fruit shrub has been cultivated for centuries in Africa for its sweet, golden berries. The small yellow fruits resemble yellow currants, but are more closely related to tomatoes. This plant grows well in garden containers, and begins producing early in the season, until fall if picked well. Avoid eating unripe fruits.
