This very old variety from France owes its name to its beautiful large, round and smooth red tomatoes weighing 150-180 g, which contain few seeds. Their high-quality pink flesh is delicious in salads. They are also made into excellent stuffed tomatoes and are very popular for preparing coulis because of their easily removable skin. The very productive and vigorous indeterminate plant is easy to grow both in the field and in the greenhouse. The first fruits mature mid-season and display exceptional resistance to splitting and disease in our gardens.
