This variety of acorn squash produces one-kilogram fruit. The exterior, very hard and ribbed, is almost black green, while the yellow flesh is particularly thick, dry and sweet. ‘Tuffy’ offers an intense nutty flavour that is very sweet 2 weeks after harvest.
