Moss Green Curly Parsley seeds – Biennial type – untreated and GMO-free seeds

Heirloom moss green parsley from the mid 1800s. Upright stems bear finely cut dark green curled leaves well above the ground. This variety has wider leaves and is more flavorful than regular leaf parsley. Retains its fresh appearance and deep color quite well and resists browning and fading. The best variety for garnish and a superb ornamental plant for containers.

Germination is accelerated by first soaking the seeds in water overnight. After soaking, sow seeds 6 mm (1/4 in) deep in rows 40 cm (16 in) apart. Wait. Parsley takes up to three weeks to germinate. Keep the seedbed evenly moist, but avoid crusting the soil as this will greatly reduce the number of seedlings that emerge. Mulching the seedbed facilitates germination. Thin seedlings to 10cm (4in) apart after germination. Keep the parsley well weeded.
