Ancestral tomato seeds. Natural, untreated and GMO-free seeds. Hybrid seeds. Large Coeur de Boeuf type fruit
Do not sow too early as the plants will quickly outgrow space on a windowsill.
Fill a cell seed tray with seedling soil and sow a single seed (2 cm) deep in each cell. Cover with potting soil, label and water well. You can place them in a dome tray on a heating mat for extra heat. Water to maintain humidity. Place each plant in a 9cm pot when it is about 8cm tall and has three true first leaves. Space the plants so that they are not touching each other.
Pick the fruit as soon as it ripens, breaking off its short stems where they join the vine. Tomatoes are damaged by cold weather, so be sure to harvest outdoor crops before the first frost and never store picked tomatoes in the refrigerator.
