Today, the reputation of St. John’s wort is well established and several medicinal properties are attributed to it. It can be used as an antidepressant, vulnerary, nerve tonic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, astringent, healing, cholagogue and mild sedative. It is used internally in the form of a dried plant and a tincture. This cultivar is known to have some resistance to anthracnose.
