Écoumène / Maïs ‘Tom Thumb’ Popcorn / Type Annuel / Semences Bio

The appearance of this corn line dates back to the 1860s, but this particular selection is the result of the work of Professor Elwyn Meader of the University of New Hampshire during the 1960s. The plants are only 100-110 cm tall and each produce 1-2 ears of only 10 cm long.
Maturity is reached in 85-90 days making it a good choice for colder regions where the growing season is short. The cobs composed of beautiful golden yellow kernels make excellent popping corn and are also popular as table decorations.
