Versatile variety with tasty white flesh.
Rake the soil to a fine texture and create a ½ inch (1 cm) deep trench across the bed. Sow in groups of three seeds 6 in (15 cm) apart along the row. Space rows 12 in (30 cm) apart. Cover the trench with soil, label and water thoroughly.
Thin seedlings to one plant per station by pinching or uprooting weaker plants with your fingers. Cover with horticultural fleece where there is risk of carrot fly damage. Weed regularly by hand, especially when the plants are young, being careful not to damage their developing roots. Watering is only necessary during long hot and dry periods.
