Planting: sow radishes early in spring, then do successive sowings every week thereafter. They prefer a cool climate.
Soil: the ideal growing temperature is 10°C to 18°C in fertile soil.
Spacing: sow them in rows 45 cm to 50 cm apart and thin them to 2.5 – 5 cm.
Growing Tip: It is important to maintain humidity as they will grow quickly and taste better. They tolerate partial shade. They can also be sown with slower growing vegetables to define the rows.
Harvest: harvest the radishes when they have reached the desired size. On the other hand, do not let them become too large, this will affect their taste and make them harder and fibrous.
